What’s The Best Helmet For Me?

The first thing you need to find out is if the helmet fits your head. Trying several different brands might be necessary to find the one that fits your head perfectly.

Be sure you can see the CPSC sticker inside. With this sticker you know it is made with the high standards set by law. This was a requirement by law in the U.S. since 1999.

Pick a bright color so you can be easily seen.

Be sure the helmet is comfortable and remember the best helmets aren’t always the most expensive.

What’s The Best Helmet for My Child?

Be sure the child’s helmet is as well constructed as you would buy for an adult.

Helmets are not made for very small children (under one year old). If you have questions about this, check with your child’s doctor.

By letting the kids pick out their favorite color, getting them to wear it will be much easier.

There are a lot of scooter club websites out there. We only listed a few links. There isn't a link for every state, but we are sure they do exist. You should just check your local newspaper for scooter rallies or ask the salesperson in the scooter shop where there might be a scooter club meeting.

Some of the scooter clubs were set up for different types of scooters. But that doesn't mean you couldn't belong as well. After all, you are still a scooter rider. Most scooter clubs just enjoy getting together to share in scooter-riding. These clubs usually welcome all kinds of scooter riders. If you have a hard time finding a club that you like or is nearby...just start your own club!
